Jonas Brothers a fost desemnata `Cea mai proasta trupa` in cadrul galei Shockwaves NME Awards 2009, ce a avut loc aseara (25 februarie) la Londra.
Formatia alcatuita din fratii Nick, Joe si Kevin Jonas a strans cele mai multe voturi la aceasta categorie. Ceilalti nominalizati au fost Oasis, Tokio Hotel, Fall Out Boy si Scouting For Girls.
Desigur, faptul ca a fost nominalizata la sectiunea `Cea mai proasta trupa` n-a impiedicat formatia Oasis sa castige trofeul `Cea mai buna trupa britanica`, in cadrul aceleeasi gale.
In afara de `trofeul` `Cea mai proasta trupa`, grupul Jonas Brothers a primit si nedorita `distinctie` `Cel mai prost album`, pentru `A Little Bit Longer`.
Inainte de a-i blama, sa ne uitam, insa, si la contracandidatii pe care i-au avut fratii Jonas la aceasta categorie: Britney Spears – `Circus`, Coldplay – `Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends`, Scouting For Girls – `Scouting For Girls` si Razorlight – `Slipway Fires`.
